Art was married to Sarah (at Canada).(New information: Sarah Oakley was
wife's name.) Arthur was a United Empire Loyalist. Went to Canada in 1783,
after the war. His children: Arthur, Sarah, Jemima and James all received free
land in Ontario as children of an U.E.L. The children born in New York, Jamima
b 25 July 1769, Smith's Cove. Arthur born 1774, probably Smith's Cove, or
maybe Clove. Sarah: Census says born Long Island. (One source says Arthur
buried at Clover, N. J.?) A David and an Eleazer Youman was reported to have
been with Arthur in Canada.? But only Arthur was U.E.L.
