     BIRTH: From family records handwritten possibly by a Mrs. Bowles but not signed) and located in ERL C36. Esther born & died before 1850 married Lorenzo Dow Hatcher on May 5, 1842. Two children 1. Charles born 1843 (didn't return from Civil War) and Lizzie born 1846 died unmarried.
