FAMILY BIBLE: Bible and papers of Austin James Rittenhouse I are in possession of Judith Rittenhouse, 2434 E. Contessa, Mesa, AZ 85213 in August 1990.

DEATH: Death Notice in possession of Judith Rittenhouse. Also Susan Griffith stated 16 Aug 1992 that Austin James Rittenhouse I died in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he was trying to restore his very poor health. See his obituary.

MARRIAGE: Certificate from Iowa State Department of Health in possession of Judith Rittenhouse.

BURIAL: Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Oklahoma.

OCCUPATION: He was admitted to practice law in Ohio, Missouri, Nebraska, Washington, and Oklahoma. He was a member of the Board of Regents at the University of Oklahoma.

     ~TEMPLE WORK: Judith Rittenhouse as Judith Lamb LaForge did the initiatory work on 24 Feb 1982 and endowment on 25 Mar 1982. I noted on a sheet with 15 names that I did the sealings for all the ladies on 29 Apr 1982; however, the Church records say 6 May 1982. Her Ref 8134502 32 S/N 00105-3 068 04.

FAMILY BIBLE: Bible of husband Austin James Rittenhouse I in possession of Judith Rittenhouse, 2434 E. Contessa, Mesa, AZ 85213. It gives her birth date as 28 March 1856.

PAPERS: Many papers of family in possession of Judith Rittenhouse.

BIRTH: 28 Mar 1856 in family bible of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rittenhouse.

HOME: From a postcard written to Mary Ellen Brown Haines, sister to Louise J. Brown, by her husband John Haines in 1903, the Brown home was near Plano, Iowa.

BURIAL: She was buried in Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.

CENSUSES:
1900 Says that Louise Rittenhouse is head of house, 44 years old, born Mar 1856 in Iowa, married and has been for 25 years, had 5 children, 5 children living, dressmaker and living in McCook, Red Willow, Nebraska with four of her children.
1910 Says that Louse Rittenhouse (name is extracted wrong and should be Louise) is head of house, 53 years old, widow, born in Iowa, had 4 children, 4 children living, restauranteur and living in Chandler Ward 2, Lincoln, Oklahoma.

Address from 1977 until 1987: 6006 N. Calle Mio, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Now living at Chris Ridge Village Retirement Apartments, Apt. 232, 6246 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021.

DEATH & BURIAL: Her granddaughter Vicki called Judith Rittenhouse on Mar 20, 2003, to tell her that Bea Davis had passed away the day before. The funeral will be at Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Road, on Monday, March 24, 2003, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery on Van buren and 27th Avenue in Phoenix, AZ.
