FATHER: Karl was the father of Maria Carola Renate Witt Sprecht Tucker, wife of Thomas W. Tucker. Judith Rittenhouse thinks her first husband Rudolf Sprecht's death certificate says Karl lived in Lichtenrade, Berlin, when they were married.

NAME: He was known as Alfred Scott as long as he lived in Albion, Edwards, Illinois. After he left Illinois he went by Scott Alfred as well as Alfred Scott Hocking.

MARRIAGE: Married Sarah at her grandmother's father's house where she was born in Albion, Edwards Co., IL. According to Susan Griffith, married 2 Aug.

~TEMPLE WORK: Judith Rittenhouse submitted Sarah's temple work in 1968 to be performed while known as Judith Tucker in Bowling Green, KY, while taking her first genealogy correspondence course from BYU. Sarah also had her baptism performed on 24 Jun 1972 and her endowment on 27 Jun 1972, both in the Arizona Temple.

DEATH: Died at the home of her daughter, Alma H. Rittenhouse, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

BURIAL: Rose Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with her husband and grandchildren Austin James Rittenhouse and Alma Elizabeth Rittenhouse Lamb.

DAR: Daughters of the American Revolution National number 101958. Sarah Bunting joined the DAR through the line of her husband Thomas Hocking whose great grandfather Nathan Jaggers served in the Revolutionary War.
