1860 Says that W. H. Price is 6 years old, was born in Tennessee and living with his parents in Macon County, Tennessee.
1880 Says that William H. Price is 26 years old, born in Tennessee and is living with his parents in Macon County, Tennessee.
1900 Says that William H.(extractor has William W.) is 46 years old, born Aug 1853 in Tennessee, married (looks like) 15 years, is a farmer and is living in Civil District 1, Macon, Tennessee.
1910 Says that William H. is 56 years old, has been married to first wife for 24 years, born in Tennessee, and is a farmer on a general farm.
1920 Says that Wm. H. is 46 years old(extractor read this wrong and when you look at the actual census record it says 66 years old), married, born in Tennessee, farmer on a general farm working on own account and he is living in Justice Precinct 6, Ellis, Texas.
1930 Says that Wm. H. is 76 years old, first married when he was 33, born in Tennessee, farmer on general farm and is living in Justice Precinct 4, Johnson, Texas.
TEMPLE WORK: REF: 8134502 34 S/N 00108-9 075 54. Don't know who did endowment. David and Judith did his sealings on 29 April 1982. FamilySearch in Aug 2003 gives a date of May 6 1982 for sealing to parents.
BURIAL: Mountain Peak Cemetery, Midlothian, Ellis Co., Texas. Cemetery gives birth year of 1853 and death year of 1930.
DEATH DATE: Not sure if William died on 25 Jan 1931 or 29 Apr 1938. Texas Death Index says William died 25 Jan 1931.

DEATH DATE: Not sure if Mary Lee died on 29 Apr 1938 or 25 Jan 1931. Since her husband died in Ellis Co., Texas, Judith Rittenhouse is assuming that she did also since she's buried there.
BURIAL: Buried in Mountain Peak Cemetery, Midlothian, Ellis, Texas. Cemetery gives birth year of 1865 and death year of 1938.

Individual Note: DEATH: Have for death date 27 Mar 1897; also according to a handwritten note by a grandson, "Grandpa Wesley W. Tucker, Sr., was born Nov. 21, 1807, died Nov. 16, 1897... 16 Nov. March 2003 his death is listed as 13 Nov 1897 from his tombstone. On tombstone is etched, "Death is eternal life, why should we weep?"
NEED TO CHECK: Was this family in Macon Co? Index to 1850 census just says county "M" whereas other people in Macon Co. have "Ma" printed.
OCCUPATION: He was a slave driver for wealthy men and hired out to manage slaves. From Aunt Dollie's notes.
RESIDENCES: W. W. and Cina Tucker came from North Carolina to Rutherford Co., Tennessee. They later moved to Union Camp in the vicinity of Macon Co. They bought a farm on White Oak Creek. This information from History of Macon County, Tennessee by Harold G. Blankenship. The original farm was 600-700 acres for which W. W. paid $600. In March 2003 Larry Tucker now owns 290 acres of the original farm.
NAME: According to his granddaughter Cina Caroline Tucker, his name was Wesley Washington Tucker. According to the Harwood Tree his name is Wesley Wilson. According to Bonnie Batey his name is Wesley Washington. Judith Rittenhouse had on her notes from the 1960's while married to Lovis Howard Tucker that he was William Wesley Tucker.
