BURIAL: E-mail from Carolyn Dacus Andrews to Judith Rittenhouse on 28 Mar 2007: My name is Carolyn Dacus Andrews and I have for several years researched my Dacus family line. I am a descendant of Paskel and Amanda O'Dell Dacus. When I first started my research your mother and I corresponded, she was so very gracious in sharing the information she held. Because of her information about the location of Paskel and Amanda's gravesite, I was able to have a Confederate headstone placed at Paskel's grave and my family and I purchased a stone for Amanda. These were placed last June and the Sons of Confederate Veterans performed a beautiful ceremony in hishounor.as a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, our chapter will again honor his memory by placing flags on Confederate Memorial Day, April 7. I recently read your posting and wanted to share the kind remembrance of your mother. Carolyn
