DEATH: Human Life Magazine published in 1907 stated that the gunfighter Luke Short died 12 years ago in Ft. Worth, Texas; this would place his death in 1885. Ethie Lee Price Tucker was sister of Grace Price Short.

DEATH: I believe Dutch died in a fishing accident. I need to find books written by his brother Wayne to check this out. His nephew Luke Short did not mention him as being alive or any children. Book by Wayne says that Dutch's real name is Robert Neil.

     BURIAL: He was buried in the Lamb Family Cemetery located in 1990 on the Ellis Wall Farm. Susan Lamb Griffith submitted following information to Greene Co. (AR) Historical and Genealogical Society on the Cemetery Index Addendum for registering unmarked graves or correcting possible errors: birth and death dates and places, burial place, marriage information, and parents' names (minus mother's maiden surname). "Age 75 yrs 29 days. Tombstone uncovered in Oct. l990 under 2-3 inches of dirt. In October 1990, Juanita Stacy and I made a trip to the Lamb Cemetery and spent one full day removing tree branches, underbrush, and digging up some of the tombstones from the ground. There are more tombstones still covered by dirt. We ran out of time and were unable to finish this task." (See AR:CEM 1s.)
