1930 Says that Robert L. McClusky is 49 years old, married, first married at age 25, born in Texas, laborer/sewer and filing (sic) (probably a plumber) and living in Litchfield, Montgomery, Illinois, with his wife Nellie and their 3 children.

MARRIAGE: Robert must have been married before since 1930 census says that he was first married at age 25 which was about 1906, but Nellie was first married to Chester Bewley in about 1908.

1880 U. S. Federal Census : Kansas. Smith. Lincoln. M. H. Thompson, self, Married, Male, White, age 37, born in Indiana. Farmer. Parents born in NC.
1895 Says that M. H. Thompson is 52 years old, born in Indiana, came to Kansas from Missouri, farmer, honorable discharge, served in Indiana Company D, Regiment 38, Infantry and living in Webster, Smith, Kansas, with his wife Phebe and 5 of their children.
1900 Says that Mathew Thompson is 57 years old, born Aug 1842 in Indiana, married, has been married 34 years, farmer and living in Webster, Smith, Kansas, with his wife Phoeba and their son Winnie S. Thompson.
1915 Says that M. H. Thompson is 72 years old, male, white, born in Indiana, came to Kansas from Missouri, honorably discharged, served in Indiana Company D, Regiment 38, Infantry and is living in Ionia, Jewell, Kansas, with a P. C. Thompson.

CHILDREN: Matthew and Phoebe have a daughter Ellenora with them in the 1870 census but not in the 1880 census. In the 1880 census they have a daughter Mary E. Thompson with them but we do not think that Mary's middle name is Ellenora or that they are the same child since their ages are off by three years. Besides it is likely that Matthew and Phoebe had at least one other child before Mary since they married in 1863. It is possible that Ellenora died young.

1895 Says that Phebe Thompson is 51 years old, born in Indiana, came to Kansas from Missouri and living in Webster, Smith, Kansas, with her husband Matthew and 5 of their children.
1900 Says that Phoeba Thompson is 56 years old, born Apr 1844 in Indiana, married, has been married 34 years, had 10 children, 5 children living and she is living in Webster, Smith, Kansas, with her husband Mathew and their son Winnie S. Thompson.
