BIRTH: From family records handwritten possibly by a Mrs. Bowles but not signed) and located in ERL C36. Jane born Feb. 10, 1806 Tenn. died Dec. 3, 1836.
BURIAL: Lawrence Thompson is buried in Sweet Moments Cemetery, Goobertown, Arkansas. Because that is in Craighead Co., Judith Rittenhouse put he died in Craighead Co., Arkansas. Sweet Moments Cemetery, Brookland,Craighead Co. Arkansas. Thanks to Debra Walker and Dee Burr for the complete listing of this Cemetery. Established: Early 1800s. Directions: Turn west on County road 792 at Goobertown Store then turn north on County road 791. Go north approximately ¾ mile to the first crossroads. Turn west (Left) on County road 761. The cemetery will be on the right side of the road approximately ½ mile. All Thompsons buried there:
James Addison Thompson = Nov 27, 1849 - Nov 19, 1932 (Daddy). Jane Mattix Thompson - Wife of Lawrence Thompson from 1822 - 1836 - died 1836. Laurence Thompson - 1799 - 1856 - 1st Co. Clerk of Green Co. (first name spelled differently on this stone). Mahala Sutfin Thompson - Wife of Lawrence Thompson form 1840 to 1899 - Born Dec 18,1814 - Died Jun. 24, 1889 .
~SEALING TO PARENTS: Ted Carpenter, Judith Rittenhouse, and April Tucker attended the sealing session and were able to personally do half of the women. We were there as the others were done with Ted being a witness.
