NOTE: Viewed and compiled on June 6, 1977 in Jonesboro, AR, by ELizabeth Rittenhouse Lamb, Greenwood, MS; her record in possession of Judith Rittenhouse, 2434 E. Contessa St., Mesa, AZ 85213 on July 31, 1996. (Bible later in possession of Viva Demetra Tyner Nutt, Kennett, MO, until her death in 1989.) NOTE: This information was entered by J. M. Tyner as "J. W. Tyner was bornd...April the 2 day 1827 and died March the 18 day 1884."
TEMPLE WORK: (1) Bapt, endw, & seal cleared for AZ Temple. Thomas Tucker did his baptism on Aug 11, 1978. GMF #004-6611-111 S/N 00050; reference 7817101 17. Endowment done 13 Oct 1978 and sealing to parents on 19 Oct 1978 in the Arizona Temple. (2) Someone did the baptism for John WIley Tyner, Jr., born 5 Oct 1859, East Ridge, Hamilton, Tennessee, (and died 6 Feb 1944) in the Boise Idaho Temple: baptism 29 Mar 1996; endowment 30 Aug 1997.
DEATH: Rosmond Tyner in interview with Judith Rittenhouse in July 1977 stated that her father died 7 Feb 1944. Tony Turk in 1995 Ancestral File Submission AF92-105603 gives his death on 6 Feb 1944 at Clarksville, Red River, Texas and buried at Willow Pond Cemetery, Palo Pinto, Texas. I called him on 15 July 1995 and he said this information was his daughter-in-laws and so he didn't have the actual research. In February 2004 his address is Toni Turk (Richard), P. O. Box 667, Blanding, UT 84511.
CENSUSES:
1880 Census: In Farmersville, Collins, Texas. William Dock Tyner and John Wiley Tyner came to Texas together between 1870 and 1880 according to Rosmond Tyner Sims. She further stated that John worked in Cripple Creek, Co, before he married.
1900 Census: John, brother, age 40 b. Oct 1859, TN TN TN, farm labor in household with William C. Tynor.
HISTORY: From interview with Rosmond Tyner Sims above, she stated that "My father said his father served in the Civil War. John Wiley didn't know his father when he came home; John Wiley was sitting on a fence post at the time."
FAMILYSEARCH FILE: On this Internet file, in February 2004, John, Jr., was listed on CD 28 & CD 29 of Pedigree Resource; he was submitted to that program by Jane Ikemura who got her information from me. He also had Ordinance works listed. There were also three Turks who submitted him to Ancestral File as born 5 Oct 1859 in East Ridge, Hamilton, Tennessee and died 6 Feb 1944 in Clarksville, Red River, Texas. Need to write to Robert W. Turk, P. O. Box 1314, Port Lavaca, TX 77979 who submitted his in 1992. Also need to write Donna Machacek Turk, 506 Westwood Drive, Port Lavaca, Texas 77979. Previously called Toni Turk who got the information from his daughter-in-law.

Individual Note: ORDINANCE DATA: States she was born in 1642-1646 in Ferbeck or Erbeck, Loenen, Gelderland, Netherlands. She and Wilhelm Rittenhouse were married 7 Jun 1665 in Loenen, Apeldoorn, Gelderland, Netherlands. She died 1708 in Germantown, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was buried there in the Mennonite Churchyard. She had her work done in 2001-2002 in the Reno Temple. She has also had her work repeated in 2005 several times and cleared for more. Her father is given as Pieter Kersten and her mother as Clerke Everts.
