~ Johanna did not want any more children after Molly. When she got pregnant again, John and Judith finally convinced her not to have an abortion and she had Loren. She did abort at least one child later on; at the time David and Judith were trying to adopt a child and couldn't believe it.

BIRTH: Certificate for Loren Tyner Lamb, 11 September 1977, File No. 141-11137, (recorded 20 Sep 1977), Tennessee Department of Public Health, Vital Records, Memphis, TN. Resided at 777 Beasley St. Copy in possession of Judith Rittenhouse.

DEATH: Loren died on 2 April 2000 in a really freak car accident in Melbourne, Melbourne, Arkansas. He was alone, backing down a hill in the dark with his car door open so he could better see. He backed into a very small tree which broke his neck between the tree and his opened door. Susan Lamb Griffith and Floyd Melton were able to go to the funeral to be with Molly. Molly did not let her mother know because she felt Loren would not want her there and Molly definitely did not want her there. Tanya her stepmother was also able to attend.

CREMATED: Cremated. Ashes with sister Molly Lamb.

MARRIAGE: Tanya and John Austin Rittenhouse, formerly Jones Weldon Lamb, Jr., and Tanya were married at her home in Memphis in December of 1986 or 1987. It was after David Mottley and Judith Rittenhouse married in June 1985.

DEATH: Tanya Rittenhouse's son Calvin called Judith Rittenhouse to tell her that his mother had died last Friday, June 17, 2006, in her cabin.

     DIVORCE: Joe Beard & Susan Lamb divorced 26 Jan 1971 at Carrolton, Mississippi.

BURIED: Joe is buried at family cemetery, Shute Cem., near Black Hawk where his father Robert Lewis Shute Beard was buried.

WILL: Joe's will was filed and probated in Clarksdale, MS., in Coahoma County, since his legal residence was Moon Lake, Lula, Mississippi, at the time of his death.

TEMPLE WORK: Baptism completed 21 Nov 1992 ARIZO and endowment completed 10 Dec 1992 ARIZO had incorrect name Joseph and incorrect birthplace Coila. TempleReady would not clear his name when I tried to resubmitted his work to be done with correct name and birthplace in January 1996.

     PERSONAL INFO.: Joe was only child and never married. Had cancer of bronchial tubes by November 1989. Address: 977 El Camino Real, Burlingame, California, 94010.

CREMATION: Joe requested he be cremated and his remains deposited in the Pacific Ocean. They were not able to comply with this request until June 14. He designated which people should attend, made arrangements to have them stay at a hotel, and a limosine pick them up and take them to a chartered boat. His Aunt Mayo Norman, his mother Jane David Nolan and several friends made up the funeral party. April Tucker and Judith Rittenhouse had wanted to go but weren't invited.

BURIAL: Mayo's 1st husband Tommy died 3 Feb 1948, Wynne, Cross, Arkansas; also second husband died there 23 June 1986. Both husbands were buried at Linwood Cemetery, Paragould, Greene, Arkansas; Mayo was buried between them in her family's plot.

MARRIAGE: Marriage to Thomas A. Peterson located in Greene Co., AR, Marriage Book 20, page 324, 12-25-1926. Mayo and Bill Norman were married at the home of her brother Woodrow Lamb in Paragould, Arkansas.
