Text:   Clainda Elizabeth Dacus was born about 1850 in Cherokee Co., Alabama. She was the daughter of Pascal L. "Pack" Dacus and Amanda A. O'Dell who settled in Greene County, Arkansas in 1852. Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus married about 1867 in Greene County, Arkansas to her first husband, Robert Marshall Lamb. Robert Marshall Lamb, born 1848 in Waterloo, Lauderdale County, Alabama, moved to Greene County, Arkansas in 1851 with his parents, John Lamb, Jr. and Ann Houston. On March 11, 1881, Robert was accidentally beheaded by machinery at the Dacus gin at Walcott, Green County, Arkansas, which was owned by his father-in-law, Pack Dacus. He is buried in the Lamb Cemetery in Greene County, Arkansas, but his tombstone has been deatroyed. At the time of Robert's death, their youngest child, Jones Houston Lamb, was two years old, and Clarinda Elizabeth was expecting their sixth child, Robert Marshall Lamb, Jr. who wasn't born until May 6, 1881. Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus Lamb remarried on March 2, 1884 in Greene County, Arkansas to Rubin Al H. Winn. Winn was born about 1835 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Al Winn was the son of Minor M. Winn and Nancy Yarbour. Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus (Lamb) Winn died from Tuberculosis about 1886 in Greene County, Arkansas shorlty after giving birth to her second son by Al Winn. She is buried next to her first husband in the Lamb Cemetery, , but her tombstone has also been destroyed. Al Winn died from tuberculosis shortly after the death of Clarinda. It is not known where Rubin Al H. Winn is buried. Clarinda's two youngest Lamb sons, Jones and Robert, Jr., went to live with their Dacus grandparents. Pack and Amanda Dacus both died in February of 1895, and Jones and Robert, Jr. then went to live with their older sister Mollie Lamb who had married Emmerson Dod Winn. Calrinda's two Winn sons were supposedlly raised by an unrelated family. The children of Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus and Robert Marshall Lamb, all born in Greene County, Arkansas, were Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Lamb, born June 13, 1868 who married Emmerson Dod Winn; Lucie Annie "Nannie" Lamb born March 27, 1870 who married William A. Edwards; John Thomas Lamb born April 4, 1873 who married Lillie Minerva Grayson; California "Callie" Lamb born December 25, 1875 who married Steve D. Edwards; Jones Houston Lamb, M.D. born February 8, 1879 who married Nora Lee Tyner; and Robert Marshall "Bob" Lamb, Jr. born May 6, 1881 who married first to Emma Seay and second to Lillie Bowlin. The children of Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus and Rubin Al H. Winn, both born in Greene County, Arkansas, were James Edward Winn born Jan 25, 1885 who married Liddie Wade Davis, and Elmer Winn born about 1886 who died single. Clarinda Elizabeth Dacus has many Lamb and Winn descendants still living in Greene County, Arkansas.
