Writings of William Perkis of Topsfield- The forgoing is a true copy of an ancient manuscript that appears to be in the handwriting of the REv. William Perkins, who died at Topsfield May, 21, 1682.

Text:   Quoting from G.A. Perkins,...[Rev.] William [Perkins] born Aug 25, 1607, who immigrated to N. England about 1630-1, and whose name appears in various places in our early history as Rev. William Perkins. He was first in Boston and afterward in Weymouth, Roxbury, Ipswich, Glouser, and last in Topfield, where he died May 21, 1682.
