Text:   Randall Michels, son of James and Sarah Michels, was born in 1815 in Maine. He was married 3 November 1836 to Eliza (Naylor) Briggs, widow of Jonathan Briggs. Their children were: Mary, born 8 September 1837, married George Crakel in 1855; Harriett, born 23 January 1842, married George Nichols in 1864; and Margaret, born 27 October 1843, married Jarvis Curtis in 1866. Randall Michels died in the summer of 1845 and was buried in the old Jaques Cemetery in Edwards County. Eliza Naylor Briggs Michels died 22 September 1892 and was buried in the Albion Cemetery.
