Modified register (Decadency)

The Register report, more correctly called a Modified Register, numbers each descendant and attaches a plus sign (+) to each descendant that is carried forward to the next generation. Check out the example below:

1. Martin Blueblood was born ABT 1500, and died 1586. He married Margaret Smythe. She was born ABT 1500, and died 1574.
  Children of Martin Blueblood and Margaret Smythe are:
+ 2   i. Ellen Blueblood was born ABT 1523 in Somerset, England and died AFT 1586.
  3   ii. Thomas Blueblood.
  4   iii. Sarah Blueblood.
  5   iv. Jane Blueblood.

Generation No. 2

2. Ellen Blueblood (Martin Blueblood1) was born ABT 1523 in Somerset, England and died AFT 1586. She married Richard Black. He was born ABT 1519, and died MAY 1578.
  Children of Ellen Blueblood and Richard Black are:
  6   i. Robert Black.
  7   ii. Edward Black.
